This was a much needed reno to the old Apex Park which was looking pretty drab. Apex Park is just one of the many playgrounds that have had a facelift or a new installation in recent times.

The main feature of the playground is a climbing fort with slides and a flying fox off to the side. The BMX track still exists and toilets are still close by.

Off-street parking is available, this is a busy park and spaces are minimal. You can park further down the road closer to the softball club which is in reasonable walking distance.

Apex Park is a popular spot for family walks and bike riding as there is a long paved cycle path which passes through Felmonger Park and down to the Ormiston Dog Off Leash Area. There’s a lot of wildlife in the area, especially ducks and other birdlife who inhabit the creek.
