Gumbuya World, Formerly known as Gumbuya Park, Victoria’s newest theme park attraction has since had a multi million dollar revamp. The park is situated less than an hours drive from Melbourne.
Gumbuya World now offers 4 park segments.
Oasis Springs: (closed during winter)
Oasis Springs has a 300m Lazy River and a wave rider. This area of Gumbuya world also includes:
- 180m ‘dark slide’
- Interactive jungle gym
- Giant water bucket
This area of the park has over 7 attractions for you to cool off during our hot summer season.
Oz Adventure
Oz Adventure features 4 main rides including the swing ride and Gumbuya Express which travels throughout the park.
The park plans to launch a Woolshed where you will be able to experience how sheep are sheared in the outback sheds of Australia.
Outback Explorers
Outback explorers has a several outback themed rides along with a playground for the kids to enjoy. This area caters for the whole family, as younger children over 60cm are able to enjoy the rides providing they can hold on, sit up, obey simple instructions
Outback Explorers has 7 attractions designed for your family to enjoy without the limitations of larger rides.
Wildlife Trail
The Gumbuya World Wildlife trail offers a close experience with animals as kangaroos and wallabies wander free throughout the park. The trail has a petting zoo (baby goats, lambs, ducks, chickens and more) along with enclosed snakes and reptiles.
The Wildlife Trail has over 50 species of animals. The Critter Cave, Petting Zoo, Walkthrough enclosures and animal experiences are family friendly with all ages to enjoy.
Gumbuya world has single tickets, and family annual passes available. The park hosts special events during holiday periods. You can read about these in the What’s On Calendar.
