I’m A Self Confessed Vigilante Junkie

I’m a self-confessed vigilante television junkie. I love all things vigilante and superhero…..but, especially vigilante.

I’m 32 years old and when it comes to television these are prime years for me. I’m in my element. I’m on the edge of my seat and the show has not even started yet.

When my shows go on break I’m having withdrawals. I try to get a hit through shows like Torchwood & IZombie, it gets me through but It’s just not the same. You know you have a problem when you cry during the death of a shows major Villian (R.I.P Agent Grant Ward, I still miss you).

When my shows crossover I’m fangirling like a 15 year old at a One Direction concert. Every child is sent to bed at the stroke of sleep time. I get so excited sometimes I hold on to my pee because pressing pause during a crossover is a crime.

I don’t watch any other TV. No Gilmore Girls, No Walking Dead or House Of Cards. I almost feel like I’m cheating when I occasionally switch on something else. I have it bad and I love it. I need to know If I’m the only 30+ year old mother that is borderline obsessed with the Green Arrow.

The man under the character, Stephen Amell, seems like a great dude. But I’m all for the characters. I’m a grown woman, so I find it awkward to soon over a man out of character, especially if he is married. It doesn’t stop me appreciating good looks but I don’t tear out posters of girlfriend magazine and stick them to my bedroom wall….or do i?

The perfect time out for me is sitting down with a few shows saved for “my time”. I think if you can do something for yourself, its schedule something you love and make sure you treat yourself to it at least once a week – even if its just television time.

Supergirl didnt make the cut, Its a great show but its not grown on me.
