Zac Efron Cast As Charming, Sick & Vile Serial Killer, Ted Bundy

Holy Shit it’s happening! Zac Efron has been cast as notorious serial Killer Ted Bundy in the psychological thriller, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.

This will be a completely different role for the former Disney star.

The film, which is premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, will feature Zac as Ted Bundy, one of the most infamous serial killers in the United States.

Can The Boy Turned Manhunk Act?

I think a lot of fans originally couldn’t see Zac as Ted Bundy. Those that are not fans, probably find it hard to take the role seriously because of his previous films.

Zac Efron can act and his performance seems to be very underrated.

The Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile trailer has certainly created a lot of buzz, there has been mixed reactions from fans.

Zac Efron – Is this the end of the frat boy roles?

Will we ever look at him the same after this movie? *serial killer eyez*

Pfft. Of course we will.

Zac has clearly worked hard to move towards roles that have more substance and he deserves huge recognition for that.

What Makes Ted Bundy The Worlds Most Notorious Serial Killer?

Ted Bundy was noted as the world’s most notorious serial killer after confessing to killing more than 30 women in the 1970’s. The monster known as Bundy escaped from jail twice, both times killing more people.

In the past, Ted Bundy has been described as good looking, charming and manipulative by some. Others described him as an ordinary, typical guy next door. It will be interesting to see the films approach, especially when it’s through the eyes of Ted Bundy’s former girlfriend,  Elizabeth Kloepfer.

Ted Bundy was executed by electric chair in 1989 after confessing. However, it’s believed he most likely killed more than 30 women. Documentaries have been made over the years, but nothing on the big screen to this extent. This is an independent film produced by Michael Costigan.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile: Sundance Film Festival 2019 and is now available on Netflix.
