We love Chandler Aquatic Centre.
We have been taking advantage of Chandler Aquatic Centre during the school holidays for quite a few years now. The two-hour activity session is affordable and a great way to wear the kids out during the holiday season.
The larger pool has an obstacle course for ages 7+. The smaller pool area has an enclosed 50m slide and a smaller obstacle course for 6 years and under.
The centre has everything you need for a family day out, toilets, showers, cafe and loads of seating.
The Chandler Aquatic centre also has an outdoor pool, however, during the holiday program, this is generally off limits to recreational swimming.
The Holiday Program is held daily from 12.30 – 2.30pm. You can swim outside of those times, but the slide and inflatables are not available for use.
The Sleeman Sports Centre Picnic Area
Youll be pleasantly surprised by the picnic areas close to the Aquatic Centre.
I recommend packing lunches as the cafeteria is a little expensive. They do make lovely food.
We paid $7 for a large serving of chips and it was not enough to feed two kids, so for larger families on a budget (arent we all?), pack some lunch and head down to the grass area for a bite to eat.

Wonderful pools! It’s always an absolute treat when I take my family here for a day out. The only downside is that there are constantly people breaking rules in front of official’s faces (such as kids diving into the young children’s pools) and they don’t care.
