I’ve been through so many smartphone tripods. Big Ones, Mini Ones, Bendy Ones.
Now that I am more established, and I regularly use video on my blog, I started looking at more expensive equipment. I researched universal & smartphone tripods.
I found a really popular tripod brand costing between $35 – $70 in a style I was after.
Being a complete stinge, I went on the hunt for a cheaper imported version.
I really wanted to find a quality smartphone tripod under $20.
The Andoer Mini Tabletop Tripod is very similar to the Manfrotto Tripod and costs under $20 with free worldwide shipping, I purchased mine from Aliexpress, its also available on Amazon.
I purchased a phone tripod adapter for until $4, alternatively, you could purchase a more expensive model.
I Highly Recommend The Andoer Universal Tripod
The quality of the Andoer tripod is awesome for the price!
I’m loving the size. Folded height is only 24cm. The height of tripod legs can be adjusted .from 13cm to 23cm by pressing the red button.
This tripod is so good, I’ve started using it for all of my Zoom meetings instead of relying on the camera and audio on my laptop/iMac.
This way during meetings, I can show my whiteboard notes or anything in my working space, without moving my laptop around. I like the option of being able to position myself a little further away from the camera as well.
I also use the Tripod for my DJI Osmo Pocket when it is attached to my phone. It’s great for taking 4K Panoramas and giving extra stability when filming through the Mimo App.
Its a cheap universal tripod, but it does the job. It’s great for beginner vlogging, time-lapse video, home videos, product shots, selfies, and headshots.
