The “blind bags” are little plastic lettuces with a Cabbage Patch Lil Sprout inside along with a pet. With most blind bags being a foil packet, mad props to the creators for supplying packaging that can be used along with the toy.

We had the privilege of taking these toys for a spin, my girls are between 5 – 8 years old.

They were thrilled and eager to collect.

You can purchase the figurine range from Mr Toys Toyworld.

    1. While there is no exact value I can give you, a rough value can be created by the current market demand for a particular piece. Unfortunatley CPK don’t have a unique way to do an appraisel, it’s all based on researching what other dolls have sold for before. There is a CBK collectors club, it is around $35 to join – if you think your CBK is a high value doll, it may be worth getting advice from them or an antique dealer that has experience with vintage toys.

  12. I am pretty new to CPK collecting. I have done extensive research over the last few months. I’m in several collectors pages and have been scanning eBay day and night for several months. I purchased two CPK. In boxes, unopened, everything there, paperwork, original clothing, still attached to the boxes, what I have discovered is they are worth just about what I paid for them. One is a 1983 black signature with no date, one is a 1985 blue signature with 85 stamped inside the signature. The 85 is a preemie. Both of mine are blonde haired blue eyed. My 83 will fetch a bit more than I paid because she has the long loop hair. She will fetch about 50-60 dollars, my preemie between 30-40. I paid 30 for each. So many people bought these dolls, and they were mass produced, people left them in their boxes thinking they would be worth thousands if they hung onto them. The reality is that too many people did this. Also, the dolls are so well made, you can toss a very dirty kid in the washer, redo her/his hair, carefully snip any “fuzzies” redress, and you have, what looks like a brand new, never touched kid.

  13. I have a 1985 Cabbage Patch Doll that has never been out of the box.. He’s Emeria Jonas, with glasses and a red baseball hat. All his papers are still in the sealed envelope. How can I find out how much he’s worth? Does the value diminish if I open the birth certificate envelope?

  14. I have an un opened cabbage patch doll special edition christmas no date manufactured but her birthday is dec 24 can you tell me what’s its worth

  15. I have a young Astronaut Cabbage Patch doll with all the paperwork minus the box. The name is Aviva Leena ,she was born September 1. comes with picture of Buzz Aldrin. The birth certificate is signed in black ink. Could you tell me it’s worth.

  16. I have a 1982 red hair cabbage patch with head mold 2. I also have her adoption papers and the name change papers with the gold seal. They were sent out when you adopted your baby and changed her name. My doll also received a 1st birthday card on her birthday ( don’t havenit anymore though)
Any idea what she might be worth? Original clothes, no box and a slight hair cut!
