You Will Need
Leaf Samples – You can use the same style of leaves if you do not have a variety of trees in the yard. It really doesn’t matter. The best leaves to use will have a lot of texture, veins, and defined edges.
Crayons – I prefer wide Crayola crayons. They are vibrant, easy to use and have a better grip than thinner crayons.
Paper – Standard paper is fine. If you have a thicker GSM of paper, you will need to press down harder with your crayons for the leaf imprint to come through.
Hard Surface – Crayon rubbing art needs to be done on a hard surface. Use an old book or placemat to protect the table or bench you are working at.
