“The Farm” Byron Bay

The Farm is a working farm invested in sustainable growing methods. Located just outside of the busy Byron CBD, this was one of our favourite stop-offs in the Northern NSW area.

This was a great stop off on the way home from the Cape Byron Lighthouse, we really enjoyed the atmosphere.

The farm offers tours of its gardens or you can stay behind the fence lines and enjoy looking at things from a distance. The flower gardens are impressive, the smell drifts through the air along the walk.

The Farm walk is free and features a macadamia plantation at the end. You can pick macadamias off the ground and crack them open at the tables provided.

The restaurant was very busy and while I didn’t try the food, I saw a lot of it coming out…it looked and smelt amazing. The menu is farm to table, so most of what is on offer is locally grown produce – if not straight from the farm itself.
