Umina Beach Accomodation, Central Coast
We found amazing private Umina Beach accommodation for a fraction of the price of the average holiday home. The homes listed on Air BnB all had great reviews and it was difficult to choose which one!
Since our stay, there are even more options available on the platform. Umina Beach is a busy little town, but it doesn’t attract as many people as packed coastal tourist locations like Avoca.
Everything is within a short distance of Umina Beach, Woy Way major department stores close by and the train can take you to the Sydney CBD.
We enjoyed Luna Park and other exciting activities during out stay.
The little town of Umina Beach is not far from Woy Woy. It is small, but has everything you need including a Coles and plenty of takeaway shops.
We stayed here for a week while visiting my grandmother who is terminally ill. We wanted somewhere quite, private & secluded away from the busy suburbs of the central coast.
Most shops are within walking distance no matter where you stay in Umina Beach. We stayed in an Air B’n’B which was considerably cheaper than hotels in the Gosford area.
Umina Beach is patrolled and has a great recreation & playground area for families.

The highlight of Umina Beach was…Umina Beach! The beach was beautiful with perfect waves for kids to zoom of their boards.
The conditions were not rough during our stay and the lifeguards were on patrol right up until the evening.
We enjoyed Fish & Chips at a place called Batty’s which were delicious and shopped at Coles for everything else.
Umina Beach is is 85 kilometres north of the Sydney CBD and 111 kilometres south of the Newcastle CBD.
