Cleveland Point Reserve – Shore Street North
Cleveland Point Reserve is home to the Cleveland Lighthouse. Perfect place to eat, watch the kids play and relax with waterfront views.
The park offers Shaded picnic and BBQ facilities. The playground is small however, there is a large grass area for running around. The point is surrounded by pathway and the views are beautiful.
On the way to the reserve is the Grandview Hotel and The Courthouse Restaurant.
There is also the Lighthouse Restaurant at the point along with a Fish & Chip takeaway store. The park has toilets and drinking water.
Although surrounded by water swimming isn’t recommended at most spots at the end of the points entry into the water is difficult, getting back out even harder. Further up the road, there are small sandy areas you can use to enter the bay.
Close to Cleveland Point is GJ Walter Park
Gj Walter Park is positioned behind the Grandview Hotel. This playground is smaller but has the added bonus of a dog off leash area and isn’t as busy.
