Springbrook Natural Bridge: A Must-See Adventure
Springbrook Natural Bridge has been on my bucket list forever. So, we packed up the car with all sorts of emergency gear and hit the road for the nearly 2-hour drive from the Redlands.
Pro Tip: Before you dive into the bushland adventure, make sure you know where the closest toilet is and fill up the tank!
All I can say is: Amazing.
I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed bushland, fresh water, and clean, car-fume-free air. It brought back fond childhood memories of tranquility.
My kids, who are total suburbia dwellers, had an epic adventure. To me, it was beautiful. To them, it was like stepping into The Jungle Book. We truly take nature for granted sometimes.
What’s the Natural Bridge?
The Springbrook Natural Bridge is a stunning rock formation creating a bridge over a waterfall that cascades into a cave. You can explore both the cave and the bridge above for some breathtaking scenery.
Heads Up: No swimming at the bridge (there’s a $320 fine), but the Numinbah Valley also offers gems like Binna Burra, Hinze Dam, and Springbrook Plateau.
