The Best Oktoberfest Brisbane Tickets For Families

Oktoberfest Brisbane has come around fast in 2018 and families can rejoice with a cashless ticket system. You can load up on your funds the day before and use the tap’n’go wristbands provided to make all of your purchases.

2017 Brisbane Oktoberfest Review

We chose to visit Oktoberfest on a Sunday as this is the best day for families.

I recommend loading up around $55 for each child. This will buy you unlimited rides, entry to the mini petting zoo and a bite to eat. You can take along empty drink bottles to fill inside the festival.

This will get you through a full day or evening and night if you are BYOing some of your own food.

Visiting Oktoberfest For A Few Hours With Kids:

Kids get two free rides on a Sunday visit with your general admission ticket. General admission includes free entry for minors (under 18 years).

Oktoberfest German Festival is held at the Brisbane Showgrounds and has plenty of entertainment for everyone. Around Midday we Listened to yodeller Heidi who interacted with the audience and taught a handful of people the art of yodeling.

The festival has a “Human Foosball” inflatable course which is good for a laugh, even as a spectator. There are just enough rides to keep the kids content including bumper cars, an inflatable slide, and a thrill ride.

Guest stalls included a Circus Trick tent & a german toy store. Both stalls had demo products to play with and we purchased a couple of small items for a very reasonable price.

Visiting Oktoberfest With Your Family with EPIC EXTRA SPECIAL PERKS!

Inside the Oktoberfest Tent, there is a common area and a V.I.P. area. [Book HERE]

We had the luxury of sharing an exclusively reserved V.I.P. table which includes a ‘Bavarian Brettl’ and one round of drinks. These tables are booked in advance HERE and come with other exclusive benefits such as souvenirs, group photos, and VIP amenities.

The food is incredible! and the handcrafted beers on offer are made especially for Oktoberfest Brisbane.

Which Day Should You Visit Brisbane Oktoberfest With Young Children?

There is plenty of room at the Oktoberfest on a Sunday for families, so don’t be concerned about the crowd. For those with little ones who have a tendency to lose themselves quite easily, there are security and police roaming the area.

Parking is super easy at the fairgrounds if you have a designated driver. Cost: $13 per day at the Gregory Terrace entrance.
