Timezone Gold Coast – Massive Arcade, Great Fun!
If you are taking a trip to the Gold Coast with kids then Timezone is a great activity to include on your holiday. I know, these arcades are expensive. You will be pleased to know Timezone is very reasonable with basic games starting from $1.25.
I would say around 50% of the games are considerably cheaper than our local arcade. Those that are not cheaper usually included two turns, like the claw games.
Timezone is huge as far as Arcades go. Once the kids had used up their pocket money they still spent another half an hour looking around the centre.
There are simulator rides, bumper cars, laser skirmish, classic games and mini golf.
Ryan, my son and trustworthy reviewer vlogged our trip to TimeZone so you can get an idea of the inside before you go. [Vlog has since been removed]
Timezone is located at the top floor of the Paradise Centre in Cavill Ave, SURFERS PARADISE
Tip: If you find a little claw machine near the Bowling game, You can pay $2 for unlimited goes to ensure your child wins a price. The prices aren’t big and fancy, but its a great deterrent against using the claw machines that eat your money.
Tip: If you have under $1 left on your card, on the far right of the Timezone ticket desk, behind the glass display windows you will find a 60c game that gives you a small bouncy ball after you play.
Enjoy!
